Hi I just want to get a feel if this is actually possible. I plan on
building a game with the GestureOverlayView separate from the actual
game view where all the animations and drawing is done.

So far I am doing both in a Custom GestureOverlayView but there are
quite a bit of performance issues when drawing to the canvas

Just a quick background on me, I have been working with the Android
SDK for about 4 months now. I have a good general understanding for
Android's inner workings but I still have much to learn.

Any sort of help, advise, and/or tips would be greatly appreciated.
