Hello, I use this with GLES 1.0 and Android 4.0.2 (ICS):
gl.glTexImage2D(GL10.GL_TEXTURE_2D, 0, GL10.GL_RGB, bufferWidth, bufferHeight, 0, GL10.GL_RGB, GL10.GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE, null); gl.glTexSubImage2D(GL10.GL_TEXTURE_2D, 0, 0, 0, bufferWidth, bufferHeight, GL10.GL_RGB, GL10.GL_UNSIGNED_SHORT_5_6_5, canvasBufferAsShort); under Android 3.2 no problem... the Bitmap as Short Buffer is written every frame, but with Android 4.0.2 nothing is changed every frame (the old Bitmap is still there).
