I want to know if it is possible to develop a simple *Android* application
which examine the speed of an*NFC* communication link to compare with the
theoretical speed of technology.

My idea is this, I want to transfer from one device to another a long
string that does not mean anything in particular through an *NFC* link. The
application is activated when starting the transmission (does not matter if
you are on the receiving or transmitting device) and only show the speed of
data transmission in this case, the long string. The application only would
measure this speed, because you want to compare the speed obtained with the
theoretical.

This application is intended to make academic purposes. My question is it
possible to this application? and, How difficult would be if possible?
