MMS is not the same as RTSP. RTSP is supported in android, MMS is not. I was looking into building an app that would play an MMS stream as well. The easiest route that I can see would be using the ndk and wrapping around libmms to do the legwork - but it's going to be way more work than it would be if you had an rtsp:// stream
