Descriptive Job Title Network & Security Admin Location: Denver - CO USA, CLT Denver Colorado United States Max Vendor Pay Rate $30 Experience in yrs. 6 to 10 years Skill Description Network & Security Admin Interview Period: - Description/Comment: Data Centre Management – Network Routing and Switching: • Configuring and troubleshooting Routers, Switches, Wireless access point, Wireless Controllers • Configuring and troubleshooting network printers and other shared printers including 802.1x authentication • Analyzing the bandwidth utilization of the WAN and LAN circuit and providing timely solution on immediate basis • Backup of Configuration of Switches using standard configuration management tools on a Weekly Basis, and whenever there is a configuration change. • Troubleshooting incidents / service calls related to WAN Connectivity • Backup of Configuration of Routers/ Switches using standard configuration management tools on a Weekly Basis, and whenever there is a configuration change. • Adding/removing host static Routes • Configuring Default Routes • Adding/Removing a New Subnet to an Existing Design • Standard, Extended and Named IP Access List Configuration • Dynamic, Time-Based ACLs Configuration • Capacity analysis, bandwidth analysis Firewall Management: • Troubleshoot on escalated issues from L1/L2. • Establish any New VPNs (SSL / Site to Site / RA VPN) • Opening of new firewall ports opening for any specific applications / servers • Maintain network objects definitions, review /modify access control/filter rules, Services/Users/Hosts/IP filter rules as per the Information Systems Security Policies • Route creation and addition/deletion of host, service & policy between Zones based on the requirement • Network address translation rules created for source NAT to internet or any specific network & destination NAT for the incoming traffic or for any packets which are routed from internet to internal or DMZ networks • Create sub-interface on firewalls with required VLAN number tagged in both platforms. • Packet analysis to find the status of issue • Change management for the device which includes configuring of sites, port re-direction (http to https) configuring pools with least connection method or round robin method • Configuration of Port Security • Configuring PortFast and BPDU Guard • Adding/Removing a New Subnet to an Existing Design • Standard, Extended and Named IP Access List Configuration • Dynamic, Time-Based ACLs Configuration • Perform Capacity analysis and bandwidth analysis Liaising with Service Providers: • Coordinating with Internet service providers / WAN Service provider of MPLS connectivity for circuit failure, performance issues and other commissioning of new circuit related activities. • Based on user apps understand the operations and bandwidth requirement for each site • Raising tickets with vendors (Service providers like Megapath, netfor, broadband providers) • Coordinating with voice service provider • Upgradation of IOS of Routers / Firewall based on the Security Alerts published by the OEM manufacturer for bug fixing or security vulnerability fixing • Coordinate with vendor for escalated issue to provide solution. Documentation • IP address management for many branch offices • Voice Mail issue - password, reset, instructions to access voicemail, voicemail box clearance • Maintaining the inventory of all the network devices including printers • Maintaining circuit details, contact person details and escalation matrix of the Service providers • Maintaining the Site contact detail, address.
