I know it's totally off-topic post but since there are Google engineers hanging on this list who might be interested in the fact that the latest upgrade is VERY buggy I have no choice but to rant a bit.
Today, I got an upgrade for my G1 and it totally screwed my calls. When somebody calls me I start pressing the green button like crazy and nothing happens for 5 seconds. Ditto for hanging up the phone. Perhaps it's some kind of AI upgrade, huh? Like: I get a call and I press the dial button (N times) and it won't let me accept the call, perhaps thinking "it's your mother-in-law, are you sure?", and then when I try to end a call perhaps it's reminding me "Have you said good bye and sent your best regards?". Another thing (again, a new bug) - during a call (every *other* call that is), the call would abruptly end (no matter who initiated it) and that's it. I have *never* ever experienced something like that with any of the mobile devices I've had over the years. WTF??? Is there a new planned upgrade? P.S. I'll be really pissed off if someone tells me this is an OT post. I'm quite aware of that. P.S.2 I know it's not the network operator's fault because once as I got frustrated enough to not be able to conduct a 5 minute call w/o the call being stopped, I got my wife's phone and made a 20 minutes call w/ no problems whatsoever. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
