Project Manager, Remote position, Rate$45/hr. * This position can be remote**** This candidate will need experience in taking a project from concept to reality, ideas to implementation. Needs experience managing business based projects.. A technical background would be nice, but really need to have someone with a business mindset who has managed business projects. MUST have strong collaboration skills. This position can be remote, based anywhere in the US, but will be working Central time zone hours. Six Sigma/Lean knowledge would be very nice to have. PMP’s would also be nice to have. Global Business Services – Project Manager Position Purpose: Manage large, complex, global projects across broad areas of the business that often times involve many stakeholders. Be a strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex end-to-end business processes and proactively seek out and lead projects aimed at standardizing, optimizing and improving the business operation. Be knowledgeable in project management techniques, continuous improvement methodologies and change management techniques. Qualifications/Education/Experience Required: Requires a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree in professional business subjects. Typically, the incumbent will have eight to twelve years of professional business experience, including the use of continuous improvement methodologies, project management techniques and change management techniques. The incumbent must have the ability to work effectively with computer systems and personal computer applications. Candidate must have a proven knowledge of business principles and concepts. Skills in the area of customer service, team orientation and confidence with the support of senior management. Key soft skills required to be successful in the role include analytical thinking/application, judgment, planning, organizing, controlling, communication, initiative, passion, build trust, make decisions, win consistently, think customer, continuously improve and build talent. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Manage large, complex global projects 2. Deploy relevant project management methodologies 3. Learning the Global Business Services Transformation Methodology and effectively deploy against any assigned project 4. Provide project team leadership and work direction in a collaborative, effective manner 5. Identify opportunities for business process efficiency improvements 6. Coordinate project prioritization activities. 7. Present prioritized projects to senior leaders. 8. Collaborate and network effectively with all customers 9. Manage and cultivate a strong working relationship with the ITS business partners and ITAS 10. Identify and engage in appropriate knowledge sharing or learning opportunities 11. Mentor and coach other team members 12. Ensure change control governance procedures are developed, deployed and followed consistently 13.
