Hi there. I have recently been looking in to app developers as I now have an interest in the industry. I can also see that apps are becoming evermore popular inspiring me to further investigate. I basically have a few questions before fully delving into the industry which I was hoping anyone on here may be able to help with.
Number 1. How long on average would it take to build an app featuring a basic textual interface to display some factual information which would be inputted upon development rather than syncing upon app start-up? Number 2. What experience should I expect to have before even contemplating designing a basic game type app? (I'm not talking about anything as complex as Angry Birds, more like a maze game or something) Number 3. I am also, obviously, quite interested in the revenue to be made in this area so I would like to know ways you would recommend marketing an app to fulfill its potential revenue wise? (I don't expect to make money straight away) Number 4. If I wasn't very good at creating apps or didn't enjoy it for any reason but still wanted to be involved in the industry, would you ever consider or recommend investing in already established apps and marketing them in attempt to make a profit? Would you personally buy the scripts/code and rights for an app given a reasonable price purely to make a profit? Thank for any responses in advance. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
