1.I believe it have got a valid IP address and can do data
connectivity,because http stream could be played.
2. I am not sure whether it intercepts the rtsp stream before passing the
stream
to the media player .I used
Have you tried to find out whether any traffic is successfully sent
out the the device using tcpdump or wireshark?
Also run a tcpdump on your device to see whether you receive any rtsp
streaming.
