yes, it is possible to read the SIM.

The problem is more: with which BSF are you going to bootstrap ? Also,
Android's browser would have to get patched to make it respond to the
NAF challenge.

So for the moment, it is not very likely that this can handled yet,
but it will in the future, once the operators start running BSFs.
