I wouldn't worry about the message about the latin keyboard. I see it
from time to time too, and my programs work fine after getting past
that. What you should worry about is that
"'com.example.android.contactmanager', has stopped unexpectedly."
message. When I see the like, I check the logcat output, looking for
an exception stack trace. Find the line in the trace that corresponds
to your code, that is where the error is.

Yes, you are going to have to learn how to use logcat;)
