Hi John, Thanks for the information. I am aware of this, and have my Droid device already (thanks Google!). However, my 2009 I/O device is my main smartphone, and I wish to update the OS on it to Eclair. My comment about the 2010 conference app was just a minor sideline irritation. Best regards.

I think you're out of luck for now. Hopefully, an update will be forthcoming however, it may be the device doesn't have enough memory or CPU to handle 2.1, perhaps 2.2 is skinnier and that one will be able to be ported to the MyTouch/ION. I have that device as well (got it at IO 2009). Since I
