I think theres a spam filter that gets manually checked. Given the chunk
of messages I've just received with timestamps through the last day I'd
say the spam checker has just got down to work.

Same thing happened to me on the Android-Discuss group. Subsequent
posts worked. Maybe the first (born) one is always taken as a
sacrificial offering...
