*Position: Solution Architect* *Location: Newark, NJ* *Type: Contract* Understand overall Architecture of system and ensure deliverables are in-line Architect AWS data processing solution, focusing development of reusable components Work with AWS services like S3, EMR, Glue etc. and any of the relational databases like Redshift etc. Analyze data processing requirements, source data, and data models etc. *Required Qualifications* Experienced Architect with GC/USC and hands on experience in the following: 1. Architect and implement information management applications (Batch/Streaming, Relational/Non-relational data) in Cloud/ Big Data ecosystem 2. Develop frameworks, design patterns and best practices for Data Lake Build 3. Design data models for NoSQL applications 4. Design access layers for downstream application consumption (BI Applications, Web Portals etc) 5. Collaborate with Data Science teams on building advanced analytical models 6. Provide guidance to data engineering development teams during implementation 7. Provide guidance on tool and technology evaluations in Big Data ecosystem 8. Interface with business and IT teams 11. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate 12. Provable experience with and understanding of core AWS services (such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Route53, RDS, Lambda and CloudFormation) uses and basic architecture best practices 13.Least privilege policy design 14.Data Engineering Experience with Data Lakes 15.Knowledge of Athena, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, Glue, Sagemaker, and Lakeformation. 16.
