John, I'm one if those long-time users who started having difficulties after an
upgrade. Rooted HTC sensation, custom ROM is the cause, I'm suspecting. It
takes ~1 min to get gps locks and, if I'm on WiFi instead of cell network the
location thread times out, I believe.
Works fine in a stock
I have an app that uses both GPS and wireless location services heavily. The
app has worked virtually flawlessly for two years.
In the last week or so, I've had dozens of support e-mails from people who
are suddenly unable to use location services. These support e-mails are from
long time users
