I'm creating a custom keyboard and have been able to hack around sufficiently except for the following:
Does anyone know how one would display superscript key labels in addition to the normal key labels on the keyboard keys? For example, on the qwerty keyboard, I would like to see "1" have a superscripted "!", "2" have a superscripted "@", etc. all of which might only be able to pressed via the alt or function key or something. HTC had it in the hero keyboard but I can't find anywhere how they did that and the soft keyboard example doesn't show that. Is there a method OTHER than creating 9-patch graphics for each independent key? (...given my design, the thought of which makes me want to blow my brains out. :> ) Scott -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
