As an integral part of the support team and an advocate of quality
performance, some of the key responsibilities of Application Support
Specialist include:

·         Quickly responds to incident alerts and support calls.
Identifies, and coordinates with, teams critical to the event’s resolution,
sets up bridge calls, and escalates when necessary.

·         Proactively monitors highly available applications/systems.
Interprets and disseminates the information to a variety of audiences,
including support teams and internal leadership.

·         Performs key tasks to hot-fix and enhancement deployments to
production and non-production environments.

·         Executes automated and manual smoke tests following maintenance
and outage recovery periods.

preferred.

·         Strong communication skills with the ability to capture and
articulate technical and non-technical details.

·         Expertise with deep dive problem analysis using logging, ITOA,
and APM products such as Splunk or AppDynamics.

*RESPONSIBILITIES*



As an integral part of an operations team committed to resolving production
support issues and continuously improving our area, the senior system
administrator’s responsibilities include:



·         Provides leadership and strong technical guidance for internal
and external groups

·         Collaborate with other team members located in various locations,
inside and outside the United States, to support the daily operations of a
24x7 work environment.

·         Supports AEM and HAProxy environments and assists development
teams.

·         Leverages, Develops and or enhances CI/CD pipeline solutions.

·         Maintain various system health monitoring and reporting tools.

·         Write and maintain scripts for system maintenance and
administration.

performance, some of the key responsibilities of Application Support
Specialist include:

·         Drive migration of a critical business application from Windows
2008 to 2016 across multiple environments.

·         Reconfigure application authentication to support Active
Directory domain consolidation project.

·         Migrate application server’s domain membership.

·         Maintain PCI compliance of application servers during and after
migration activities.

·         Interface with platform teams to drive migrations – constant
clear communication is key.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE



The ideal applicant will clearly possess the following experience,
characteristics, and competencies:

·         3 – 5 years’ experience supporting a middleware platform
(preferably WebLogic) in a Windows environment.

·         3 – 5 years experience Windows administration experience with a
strong understanding of Windows principles such as group hierarchy, DNS, AD
user and machine accounts.

·         Experience with one or more of our key technologies - Oracle Web
Commerce (ATG), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), HA Proxy, and Akamai is
strongly preferred.

·         Strong communication skills with the ability to capture and
articulate technical and non-technical details.

3rd party software integrations with ServiceNow.
Develop ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, one or more
Web Services, MYSQL, XML, HTML and CSS.
Advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs,
Workflow Activities, etc.
Integrations with other systems via web services APIs: REST and SOAP
Familiar with LDAP, MS Active Directory, ADFS
