Role : Software Engineer Locations : Norwood, MA JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs complex design, maintenance, enhancement, testing, implementation, and support of software. Completes the development of software test requirements for complex modules under development, executes complex test specifications. Completes estimates for complex modules under development, and estimates own work. Performs reviews of complex customers' standards specification and other documentation to determine software engineering requirements. Performs presentations of complex technical findings and developments. Completes the software quality process through the execution of complex module, subsystem and system test procedures. You will have an opportunity to work with cutting edge handheld platforms, automation and process simulations for healthcare data management solutions. The responsibilities for this position include: • Design, implementation, verification and maintenance of software. • Research and development of user interface, business logic and data access for information management system. • Development, testing and fine-tuning of stored procedures, functions and queries for MS SQL Server. • Manual and automated unit testing utilizing TFS, N-Unit, CUIT, SQL, Unit Testing, etc. • Writing, updating and maintaining of software design documentation. The experiences required for this position include: • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related technical field. • At least 5 years of experience with object oriented coding language, preferably C# and .NET. • Experience with relational databases and SQL. • Experience with programming IDE, preferably Microsoft Visual Studio. • Experience with version control software. • Firm understanding of data structures, object oriented analysis and design. • Strong interpersonal skills and team player attitude. • Strong organizational skills and proven ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written). • Microsoft SQL Server. • Refactoring skills, experience with legacy systems and code. • Knowledge of healthcare communication protocols (POCT1A, HL7) is a PLUS. • Experience with communication frameworks (WCF, .Net Remoting, MSMQ). • Experience with web technologies (HTML, HTTP, MVC, JavaScript, AJAX, AngularJS). • Using and configuring virtual machines (VMware, Hyper-V).
