* Position: Junior AWS Cloud Security Engineer   Location: Peoria, IL
Duration: 12 Months Contract*





·         *1-3 years of IT security operations experience*

·         *Experience with the Prisma Cloud toolset (Redlock, Twistlock,
PureSec)*





Candidate Responsibilities:

The Cloud security engineer is responsible for facilitating security
efforts and remediating security vulnerabilities partnering with app teams
to identify gaps and remediate security issues. Security Engineers will
help develop policies and assist development teams in implementing
solutions to close those security gaps and make services compliant to
enterprise security requirements.



Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT security



Preferred Qualifications:

·         *1-3 years of IT security operations experience*

·         *Experience with the Prisma Cloud toolset (Redlock, Twistlock,
PureSec)*

·         Experience with ServiceNow

·         Excellent written and verbal communications skills; demonstrated
ability to communicate highly technical security concepts to non-security
audiences

·         Strong understanding and experience with information security
technologies

·         Ability to coordinate multiple teams in accomplishing process
review and improvement

·         Additional Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS)

·         Web Application Firewall experience

·         Experience with a wide variety of information security processes
and principles, such as: o Defense in depth o SDLC and product development
processes o Identity and access management o Business process design o Web
services security.
