I have some code that uses Generics, and I'm trying to write some custom
lint checks to verify user code.

The problem is that one specific sub class is mishandled. calling getSuper
returns Object, where as on other subclasses, it returns the proper super
class.

Is there a special way of handling generics with android lint?
