When will Google Talk on android support multiple gtalk accounts?
Maybe it could include simultaneous logins, or account switching like
in gmail. It would seem many would appreciate this option.
Thank you!

It is good that SIP stack (over Wifi) and gTalk are added to
Gingerbread. But so far gTalk audio is not routed to bluetooth.
Meantime, I see SipPhone is added to frameworks/base/telephony/java/
com/android/internal/telephony. But the code is not completed yet. If

For those who were wondering whether the built in GTalk application

hello,
we had developed an application (BabelFish) and had entered the ADC 1.
we were very hopeful, got very positive responses from friends and
forum users.
in short BabelFish is a translated voice and text IM (Instant
Messaging) service. it enables translated conversations among two or

Why not allow users to be able to make GTalk calls through either a
cellular data network or WiFi network? Wouldn't this be a great
ability on the T-Mobile G1 or Blackberry Mobile Phones? This is
already available with Skype (iSkoot on Blackberry). Come on Google!

I've been playing with the GTalk service, specifically looking at the
group chat functionlity. I've noticed that neither the
createGroupChatSession nor joinGroupChatSession return the session
that's been created and joined.
Has anyone managed to get a multi person chat room working in Android
yet
Hi
I'm trying the sample code packed in the SDK for GTalk activities.
The API demo of GTalk Service works fine but when i try to build and

When I try to send a GTalk message from the GTalk client in my

Hi,
I get java.lang.IllegalStateException: [EMAIL PROTECTED],
mConnection=null, mState=1 when trying to connect to gtalk.
GTALKSESSION is not null. But GtalkSession.isConnected returns false.
Any clues?

Hi. I have been browsing the android SDK documentation in search of
documentation + Sample Apps for the gtalkservice. Yes, there is
documentation + samples for the apis aspect of things, and that is
great, BUT it seems the IM apis are sparsely documented, which would
mean learning them by trial! T
I want to use the smack library from a java client to send a data
message to my GTalk enabled application on the emulator. I can send
between two emulators just fine. I am new to the smack client. I was
wondering if someone could point me in the right direction?

I found when I put string like "name <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>" in the intent sent by
gtalk
data send service. I got an "invalid-xml" error tagged by "Smack/Packet". I
think it just because there is '<' and '>' in the string. So I think it
maybe a bug for gtalk data send service

It takes about a minute for me to connect to the GTalk service. Is
