Hello, I'm new to this forum, and I'm not 100% sure if this is the one I should ask, but I have not been able to find any resources on this question I have about the Android
WifiManager. My question is whether the WifiManager startScan method begins a passive scan or an active scan on the device? I've seen the question asked on other forums such as StackOverflow <http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11602446/android-wifimanager-startscan-active-or-passive-scanning>, but I have not found a definitive answer.
