*Job Description:*





The Test Systems Group Lead is responsible for planning and developing
hardware test tools and procedures that will adequately verify and validate
the performance of various automotive components. This function is carried
out with excellence and thoroughness, demanding attention to detail,
accuracy, and technical competence.



*Essential Responsibilities *

 Lead the Test Systems Team’s project plan and assign day to day
activities to the assigned team members

 Become an integral member of the design teams, analyzing test
requirements and establishing testing objectives and plans.

 Collaborate with customers as required to develop test criteria and
methods.

 Interface with production where applicable to optimize carry-over
investment potential

 Provide direction and mentorship to other team members within the Test
Systems group.

 Develop component level performance testers and multi-component
reliability test stands.

 Develop and build testers with efficiency, flexibility and minimal cost
without compromising quality.

 Develop calibration procedures for all testers along with test data
management processes that satisfy customer statistical analysis
requirements.

 Develop tester work instructions, drawings, and bills of materials.

 Research and implement innovative equipment and/or techniques into
testers.

 Supports / Implements the ISO14001 Environmental Policy as it pertains to
work activities.

 Performs other job related and support activity duties as required and
directed.



*Experience: *3-5 years

*Education: *Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar OR a Developer
Certification *Certifications: *N/A



*Knowledge/Skills/Abilities *

 Test automation software experience with tools such as National
Instruments LabView and Microsoft Visual C# 2003-2010.

 Test automation equipment experience with data acquisition and PLC type
hardware.

 Experience with CAN and LIN networking hardware and control software.

 Test rack fabrication, assembly, wiring.

 Test rack product troubleshooting, debugging, calibration, gauging, and
documentation.

 Extensive knowledge (3+ years of experience) of National Instruments
LabView programming language.

 Extensive knowledge (3+ years of experience) of Microsoft's Visual C#
programming language for test system/hardware automation.

 Knowledge of NI Test Suite.

 Knowledge of Matlab and Simulink.

 Knowledge of Omron CX-Programmer or other ladder programming a plus.

 Knowledge of Microsoft Project Plan or similar project planning tools.
