Work Location: 625 Broadway, Albany, NY 12233-2750 Scheduled Work Hours: 40 hours per week Duration of Contract: 24 Months Visa: H1B & Above Due Date: 1/22/2021 Short description: The Water Quality Monitoring & Assessment (WQMA) project will create an integrated geographic information system with associated data storage for purposes of sharing all relevant water quality and drinking water quality data among state, federal and local agencies to be used to analyze and solve water quality problems statewide. The system will provide a single repository for the storage and management of the integrated data for the sites. The system will provide query capabilities and meet all reporting requirements to local, state and federal entities. Existing processes will be re-defined to align with the new systems being developed to increase the accuracy of the data in storage as well as improve efficiency of data collection and reporting. Requested Qualification: 84 months experience in developing front-end components in a client-side framework 48 months of experience in Angular version 2+ client side Framework 84 months of experience developing complex business system using the Spring Framework, Spring Security and JPA (Java Persistence Architecture) 60 months of experience developing against noSQL databases Day to day tasks: The position will be designing, developing, testing and debugging the application code and interfaces. The candidate will research solutions and propose how they meet the requirements, both technical and business.
