*Role: System Engineer- Server with Financial Services Domain* *Location: Jersey City, NJ – Hybrid* Key Responsibilities: *1. Technical Support:* o Manage and support Firm's Servers Infrastructure. o Identify and plan for End-Of-Life systems in coordination with the SSD group. o Handle Windows server security remediation and patch management via SCCM and MECM. o Support application patching/security package deployment. o Coordinate with hardware/software vendors to resolve issues. o Provide after-hours and weekend support as per schedule. *2. Proactive System Monitoring and Documentation:* o Proactively analyze and monitor server infrastructure components. o Maintain accurate inventory information for server equipment. o Create and maintain server administration documentation. o Work with internal/external auditors to provide necessary documentation. *3. Project Work:* o Document project requirements, propose solutions, manage project plans, and report project status. o Enforce policies/procedures for project and task management. o Collaborate with local/global IT teams for short- and long-term goals. o Manage server-related issue remediation regularly. o Assess and maintain hardware/software systems up-to-date. *Required Qualifications:* · 5+ years of overall IT experience. · Excellent communication skills. · Preferred bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related fields. · Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. · Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. · Proficiency in SCCM, knowledge of VMware. · Experience with Red Hat Server support is a plus. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
