Here is an urgent requirement for one of our clients and below is the job description, please let me know if you have any suitable profiles. *Client : Ebay* *Job Title: Sr. Data Services Engineer – Enterprise Reporting/Analytics* *Location: San Jose, California or Austin, Texas* *Duration: Long term contract * *Rate : 75/hr on CTC* *Need to be strong in Oracle, Hadoop and Data Modelling, preferable Azure.* *Education: *Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. *Experience* Minimum 8 to 10 years of recent experience in database development, relational databases, data lakes, data analytics solutions and data warehousing, including cloud-native database and modern cloud-based data warehouse systems. *Skills* Strong hands-on experience on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (Or other leading RDBMS such as MySQL or SQL Server), data modeling, and design. Hands on design and development experience in multiple Data Warehousing, Data Lake & Analytics Platforms: Microsoft data and analytics platform (Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, etc.); Google Cloud Platform (Data Proc, BigQuery) Data storage and analysis toolsets, including modern distributed technologies such as SparkSQL, Hadoop, Presto, Hive, Kafka, Cassandra, Redshift or other equivalent solutions. Working knowledge of ETL/ELT/data pipeline development, using industry-standard tools such as Talend. Hands-on experience using one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, bash, etc.) Working knowledge of data lakehouse reference architectures and common data processing architectures (Lambda, Kappa) Solid understanding of data architecture, standards and data governance in relational and non-relational databases Experience with Data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI is a plus.
