Windows problem..no spaces in fodler names of the java sdk..
Install java sdk in different folder at root of drive and change the
eclipse.ini file to point to it.

i think u might have to link the eclipse with android sdk
u can do tht by going to help-> software updates->
under add site add the local archive
browse to point it to ur adt unzipped
then right click install
and restart ur eclipse
now u might get ur preferences thing
