I don't see any anger, just bluntness. Mathew makes a number of good points.
Many of the Android kernel patches are not of any benefit to the larger linux
community and perhaps more effort should have been made (be made?) to reuse and
refine existing linux implementations for kernel features

This post was not about anger at all but about a different point of vu
that I thought could be constructive. Like a code review done by a
team mate.

Mostly, there are technical opinions and there are some facts too (and some

Yes we saw this when we turned spinlock debugging on. Arve has a
pending change on the dm side to fix this. It doesn't cause a problem
right now on our single-processor architecture because taking a
spinlock only disables irq's, so we checked it in.
