Hello, I have been digging for couple days online to find out how to disable the wifi power management on the Google Nexus 7 (2nd Gen) or any Android device. I have been getting a range of ping from 25-113ms. The setup is I have an AP that is pinging the Nexus 7. The devices are about 1 feet apart.
I rooted my Nexus. I found iw binaries ported for Android. I ran "iw dev wlan0 set power_save off" in the Android Terminal Emulator. However, I still got the same results as not setting the power save off. Any thoughts? Is there any WAY to get a stable <6ms ping response on the Android platform?
