Hi,

I am interested in running Android on ARM Versatile Express i.e VX
platform.

I am new to Android and have few basic queries here:

1. As far as I understood, Goldfish is a virtual ARM platform that
Android community has created to run Android on Android-Emulator i.e
Qemu-with-Android-Extensions. Is it correct?

2. In the android kernel repository, I see branches for linux kernel
2.6.35 which has support for VX. Does this branch has complete support
for Andoid too? I do not see Goldfish platform support in this
version, so does this mean that this kernel has Android support but it
cannot be executed on Android-Emulator?

3. I have downloaded Android-Froyo repositories and compiled it for
ARM-V7. I am using it with a customised kernel that i have
compiled(based on android 2.6.29-golfish android kernel). When I run
this setup on emulator, the emulator GUI doesnot comes up. What could
be wrong here?

Thanks in Advance.
