Hi,

First I downloaded the android source code 2.3.5 and build it with the
default kernel image. I boot my Nexus S and everything works fine. I have
seen the kernel version is 2.6.35.7-g3cc95e3 android-build@apa28 #1.

Next I downloaded the kernel branch
remotes/origin/android-samsung-2.6.35-gingerbread and built it. Then I use
the built kernel image to build the android source code 2.3.5. After I boot
my phone, I have seen the version is 2.6.35.7-gf5f63ef-*dirty*root@localhost #
38. The WIFI interface is not working! The text "error"
will show when I want to enable the WIFI interface in settings and I have
seen the phone can not read the WIFI MAC address!

PS: I have already extracted the WIFI supported device binaries:>

Any clue?
