thanks.
I prefer both in 64-bit os. Is there any problem if developing app, froyo
system and gingerbread system all in 64-bit ubuntu?

As I know, to build application ubuntu 32bit is required. And to build
android system on Gingerbread ubuntu 64bit is required, but Froyo and early
version need 32bit. So, what is the exact reason?
And if I need to develop both froyo and gingerbread, what is the best
solution?
Thanks.

"This directory contains the source for the source.android.com site
contents." So the content in mydroid/development/pdk/docs is the same as
source.android.com site.

You probably have solved it. I just encountered the same problem. It
turns out bionic has a file with the same name "util.h". It confuses
the compiler.
bionic/libc/include/util.h
