Hi Subbu, I tried it on the Nexus One & G1 device. And I verified the scenario as bellow: 1. Play the music until timeout to screenoff. 2. I tried to adjust the volume and found that can't support it continuous.
AP will not trigger any behavior through the long-press behavior in screen-off mode.
