Hi Guys, I'm not getting 3G when I'm building Android 2.3.4 for Nexus S from scratch. I built the samsung kernel first then used the zImage as the TARGET_PREBUILT_KERNEL when running 'make' for the latest 2.3.4 source tree. Then I flashed all. Everything worked fine except there is no '3G' sign on the notification and I cannot get data service, even not EDGE. WIFI, Bluetooth and voice call work all fine.
So I guess that the problem has to do with the baseband I'm using, because as I remember the stock rom has a baseband version of I9020XXKD1( I bought it from AT&T, in US), then after I flashed my AOSP the baseband version becomes 'NO DGSXXKD1' and I don't know what is the difference between them. So please someone enlighten me on this matter. I would really appreciate it.
