Our ARM based embedded platform runs on linux-2.6.31 kernel version.
We want to port android on top of it. We first want to boot the board
with Android and then proceed with application development.
After going though the android related websites the following is my
understanding and plea

I downloaded the android source and gave make command. The building
takes long time and its compiling many modules. I am not interested
in say libwebcore for my target as I am not going to develop web based
applications. So is it possible to avoid libwebc
