Hi everyone, I'm new here, and new to Android too (it probably shows)... I've looked a bit through the post history, but I can't find the answer to my issue so, here goes (hopefully someone will be charitable enough to tell me what I'm doing wrong):
In a project I'm working on, I end up obtaining the IP address for an ECM interface via an at command. I was planning to use "ip address add XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/24 dev USB0" as this works fine when I do it in the adb shell, but when I try to do it via a system call from the RIL, I get error code 512. I suspect some sort of right issue, but I'm not sure if there's way around it or a better way to achieve the expected result. Many thanks.
