Hey sry for the late reply,
The GPS im using is a USB GPS device, it uses the USB-serial adapter
pl2303 driver.
when i connect the gps to the Beagle Board, I get a msg as:
pl2303 1-2.4:1.0: pl2303 converter detected
usb 1-2.4: pl2303 converter now attached to ttyUSB0
but on doing a cat /dev
