As far as I know, building AOSP Gingerbread/ICS using Ubuntu 12.04 is not
recommended.
Check android-building for more information.

For several months now the Sun Java 1.6.0_31 version has worked fine, while
the OpenJDK version gives build errors.
On my system the Sun version was selected for all Java packages except for
