I can't get it to work. Mountd used to work properly. My sdcard is
located at /dev/block/sdc1, how can I set vold.conf to mount my
sdcard?

As far as I can understand, it does the job of a volume manager that is,
mounting and unmounting SD/MMC cards and so on. You need to set the rules
properly in /system/etc/vold.conf in order for it to work for your needs.
