http://code.google.com/p/android-lighthouse/ contains a port of Qt to Android, so there must not be any technical reason why WxWidgets cannot follow a similar path. I agree with you that the task will take (quite a bit of) effort, and might not have the results you're hoping for. You might experiment with the android-lighthouse project first to see if their solution was able to achieve something along the lines of what you want, and if it does, you may be in a better position to evaluate attempting the Wx port.
