as mentioned im fighting with some driver on the m8. Some drivers are not
quite good in the 2.6.27 kernel which is the actual android kernel.
Samsung did work on thier kernel, and supplied drivers and plattform changes
which could be very useful for me.
So im thinking of which kernel is best to

samsung has it's android bsp based on 2.6.27, but i can't share these
source. sorry.
i think you should continue use your kernel tree, and merge the spi driver
from new kernel
