Hi, In an earlier email Dave has suggested that Android will be updated with improved mechanism for tunneling device specific parameters through the framework to the HAL. And this would be consistent throughout the media framework (audio, camera, media player, etc).
Are there actual ongoing plans for this or is it already integrated in Android.
