I'll try your patches this weekend. Since I assume you're willing to
contribute your patches back to the AOSP, you might be better off
discussing this in android-platform.
Also, are you working against the eclair or master branch? I think all
submissions to AOSP must be against master.
None of these changes will be accepted. The ALSA code has already been
submitted against Eclair and master branches by Wind River which has
significant changes.
