I just tried and it worked for me. Maybe you have an old andromda plugin in
your $MAVEN_HOME/plugins directory? You don't need to copy the
andromda-profile*.xml.zip as its included as a dependency in the
mda/project.xml of the generated project.

Can you explain a little better about what you want to
add? What metadata for the type mappings are you
talking about, and what attribute support do you mean?
If it enhances the cartridge, just create an issue in
Jira, upload the patch and I'll take a look and apply
it if it looks good

while you're at it, could you try to get confluence running at the same time ? I once
tried that and it worked but Jira would seem to lose all data
