All,

I need another parameter in TemplateConfiguration, and was looking around in
CartridgeXMLParser and noticed that validation is turned off on the parsing.
If that's the case, it seems like storing the TemplateConfiguration in a
DynaBean or similar would make a lot of sense.

If this were done, cartridge developers could make a cartridge, add
parameters to the andromda-cartridge.xml, and have their own parameters
passed in without worrying about having to change the sources.

Any committers want to take this on, or take my diffs if I generate them?

In other work, I am still using this andromda-maven cartridge, it's working
quite well. There's been some holdup getting the cartridge added to the
ibiblio repository because the license on the NBR is a bit questionable, but
it would be a no-brainer to add it to the AndroMDA build and copy it to the
$MAVEN_HOME/plugins folder on a clean build of AndroMDA. I had an idea on
how to repackage it the other day to avoid the hassle, just haven't been too
focused on it lately. If anyone cares, I'll dust it off and get it going.

I'm working right now on a cartridge to generate workflows from activity
diagrams for http://werkflow.codehaus.org. This is using a new
IAndroMDACartridge implementation and direct generation of XML with Dom4J.
If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll keep the list abreast of
progress.

best,

-b
