I can *highly* recommend "UML Distilled" by Martin Fowler from Addison Wesley. Simple, short, well written.



I read and liked very much this book and the activity diagrams approach, but I'm uncertain about the *rules* to draw state/activity diagrams in a "correct" way. It looks like each author creates a standard...
