handles tables.

You must mean the bpm4struts cartridge! We tried to
look for all the docs on that, and we were hoping to
find some stuff on how to design the ui, like how to
choose textfields, and textareas, and buttons, and
place them on the screen, but couldn't find any.

Are you talking about Swing apps? We have a struts cartridge that will
generate a UI with struts, however we don't have one written for Swing, it
would be a welcome contribution. Its definitely not out of its scope, a
cartridge just needs to be written.
