A March poll by MVK shows support for EU membership is far higher among Slovaks than support for joining NATO, TASR and CTK reported. Of those who intend to participate in the 16-17 May plebiscite on EU accession, 75 percent said they will support membership, 11 percent will oppose it, and 14 percent did not respond.
