Coraid needs to build an RPM package that takes care of the
deficiencies noted in that article. That would save their customers
some pain, and probably encourage adoption.

So the last release for aoetools was 2010-09-21, and the last release
for kvblade was 2006-10-02. Are these public projects still maintained?
Is there any progress/maintenance on kvblade?
