readd the following line to /aolserver/modules/tcl/init.tcl that was in
aolserver-33-ad13:
encoding system [ns_config ns/server/[ns_info server] SystemEncoding
utf-8]
otherwise the system encoding was iso8859 and

Today i tried to run the new aolserver beta (did not try any other
aolserver-4-beta till now), with openacs. It seems as if there are
problems with the templating system on the aolserver side. In my master
template there are some if,include and multiple tags.

What is the best way to limit the number of simultaneous requests from
one ip-address? Is it possible to achieve that via aolserver
configuration? Or do I have to look into something like snort?
Last Friday I got about 10reqs/sec from one funny user who wanted to
copy the entire site.
